If you are currently running an older browser please make sure to update to the latest version if you encounter errors. Some of the more common ones are as follows. (This list is not inclusive you may find other browsers work equally well.)
Internet Explorer : I do not run Windows and I have no way to check how the site responds with IE, if you have issues try downloading on of the other browsers listed below.
Google’s Chrome : 3rd choice browser for us.
Firefox : is recommended by WordPress. This my second choice Browser and I use it when a page fails to render properly in Safari. Honestly about once a month.
Safari : I actively use since I am on a Mac. Also note that the Windows version differs slightly so again I am unable to check compatibility issues.

Babs…..When did you know you wanted to write?
Cathryn: When I was ten years old. I wrote a very confusing mystery about a brother and sister trying to learn the secrets of a mansion that appears to be haunted.
I got serious about writing fiction (meaning a daily writing schedule) about twelve years ago. After reading some of Ruth Rendell’s psychological suspense novels, I realized that what intrigues me about crime fiction is exploring the “why” behind crimes.
Babs…..What do you want the readers to get out of the story?
Cathryn: Readers have said they stayed up late finishing the book, so I think they’re caught up in the suspense. I can’t ask for more than that!
Babs…….Do you have any writing rituals ie, Coffee, food, sweets, music etc.?
Cathryn: On weekdays I get up at 4a.m. and drink a very large, very strong cup of black coffee while I write for two hours before I head off to work. On the weekends I write in the afternoons. I don’t have that perfect pre-dawn silence on the weekends, so I listen to classical piano to block out other sounds.
Babs…….What do you like to cook?
Cathryn: My husband does all the cooking at our house, so I can’t really answer. I do love to eat, which makes us very compatible.
Babs…….Favorite drink?
Cathryn: Wine.
Babs…….Favorite music?
Cathryn: It’s hard to choose because it depends on my mood. I like rock, blues, classical – anything with a good beat.
Babs……Will you be writting another book?
Cathryn: I’m working on another novel nove, Buried By Debt, which will be released in November 2011. I’m also starting a psychological suspense novella series featuring an administrative assistant named Madison Keith. It has a hint of the supernatural and, of course, murder and other crimes. The first in the series, Fatal Cut, will be released May 31st.
Babs….what book are you currently reading?
Cathryn: The Raising, by Laura Kasischke. I love her fiction because it’s so beautifully written (her background is in poetry), and she creates a tense and gripping mood as she probes her characters’ psyches.

Cathryn: Thanks for inviting me here, and thanks for asking me when I knew I wanted to write – it forced me to go back and read that story — I’d forgotten what it was about.
